new song

More than the Sparrow

the birds, they sing away
to brighten up our day
the flowers, are so pretty
tomorrow, the lilies and the roses
that we see: they are gone away
their time is just to borrow

Here's a dose of Hope today:
though the path we follow
is difficult and narrow,

What did our Lord say?
oh what did He say?

You're worth more than the sparrow
oh so much more, than that tiny sparrow...
He'll tell you day by day
How much you are, to Him...

Though our time is but to borrow
those birds they sing of
God's eternal Love
and give us hope
for tomorrow
So I say to you today
you're more precious than the sparrow

What did our Lord say?
oh, what did He say?

You're worth more than the sparrow,
oh, so much more, than that tiny sparrow
He'll tell you day by day
How much you are, to Him...
when you hear the birds sing
and see them take wing
remember:
You are loved
We had a sunny few days, you can tell spring is on the way.  Today it is snowing, YAY!  I am still nervous about the college entrance exam, but I got a math study book from the library, and am hoping to be more prepared. I still know I'll be one of the oldest students in the class, but since I never fit into the mold much anyway, I guess I am okay with it.

Keep checking back for more new poems, songs, and musings.

The day I fit into this life
is the day my strife
my knowing of injustice
my rose colored glasses end

my individuality
might as well be
my birthmark

I'll be cold and chill as ice
before I go along with
lemming masses
straight to perdition

a living hell
tryin to be
to fit in with
that anonymous class
and I know well

Never!

rainy day monday

its pouring here in texas, but I like the rain because it makes my garden grow. I also hate the rain, cause I have laundry to do!  Wish I could get somebody to fix my dryer...grr!  Anywaze, WHO DAT?
go saints, go saints!

I think I'm a pretty cool person, but what's your opinion?  My youth seems to be in the rearview mirror and fading fast into the sunset...sigh.  Almost thirty and already my joints hurt when it rains, I don't party all  night anymore and well, why go on?  Too depressing already...but in other news I am going to start working at the VA for Dr. Edwards soon, probably next week.  Hope I can hack it.  I guess if I can stand to work takin' care of Franco, I can take care of just about anything Dr. Edwards can throw my way.

Back to my age...at college, I'm gonna be the den mother, I just know it.  Thirty years old? no way--I refuse to believe it--I'm only 22 at heart teehee. lata on, my peeps
