I sing this to remind myself we are never as all alone in whatever's going on in life than it might seem.
When you walk through a storm
Keep your chin up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At he end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone.

Broken headphones
Today I was on pc as usual when I leaned the wrong way and broke my xtra special headphones by pulling the connector to the end you plug in, ripping it right out! Took it to the local electronics NOT fixable. Grr now I have to replace it. Reason I liked them so much was because they have a ear-piece that goes behind the ear, so the ear buds don't fall out. So now I have to scrape together the money to replace them...not easy at the end of the month...oh well, ce la vie. But I was pissed for a while...

new poems on another site
this is a cool new site I found. I put two poems up under SunnyDCal see if you can find them.
dog days of summer
When its hot here all i want to do is sit inside in the airconditioning. Wish we had a car, so I could to the lake. I hav'nt even been swimming this year, and I love to swim. Have some new pictures of my precious little girls on Facebook. Finally went to Wal-mart and put my pics on a cd.
Have had a setback on college since my last post. My funding with the VA needs the representative to straighten out. Also, have not started job with Dr. Edwards at the VA yet. can't seem to get the time for Frank and I to go there and get everything set up.
here's a poem I wrote yesterday
In the summer heat
such a bummer
nowhere to go
tired and bored
just say the word
and I'm outta here
Find a place to go
we'll search high and low
find a new direction
and fight my predeliction
to indecition
the heat, dry or damp
is pressing down on me
like a pressure cooker
or a sauna
Sweet heat, sultry, sexy
body dampening heat
When my man desires me,
the way he looks at me
my own desire pools in me,
imitating the summer fire outside
I feel a fire building in me
the kind of flame that
smolders low and long
needing just his touch
to make the embers flare
that's when i discover
my escape has always been
right here, with him

new song
More than the Sparrow
the birds, they sing away
to brighten up our day
the flowers, are so pretty
tomorrow, the lilies and the roses
that we see: they are gone away
their time is just to borrow
Here's a dose of Hope today:
though the path we follow
is difficult and narrow,
What did our Lord say?
oh what did He say?
You're worth more than the sparrow
oh so much more, than that tiny sparrow...
He'll tell you day by day
How much you are, to Him...
Though our time is but to borrow
those birds they sing of
God's eternal Love
and give us hope
for tomorrow
So I say to you today
you're more precious than the sparrow
What did our Lord say?
oh, what did He say?
You're worth more than the sparrow,
oh, so much more, than that tiny sparrow
He'll tell you day by day
How much you are, to Him...
when you hear the birds sing
and see them take wing
remember:
You are loved
the birds, they sing away
to brighten up our day
the flowers, are so pretty
tomorrow, the lilies and the roses
that we see: they are gone away
their time is just to borrow
Here's a dose of Hope today:

We had a sunny few days, you can tell spring is on the way. Today it is snowing, YAY! I am still nervous about the college entrance exam, but I got a math study book from the library, and am hoping to be more prepared. I still know I'll be one of the oldest students in the class, but since I never fit into the mold much anyway, I guess I am okay with it.
Keep checking back for more new poems, songs, and musings.
The day I fit into this life
is the day my strife
my knowing of injustice
my rose colored glasses end
my individuality
might as well be
my birthmark
I'll be cold and chill as ice
before I go along with
lemming masses
straight to perdition
a living hell
tryin to be
to fit in with
that anonymous class
and I know well
Never!

rainy day monday
its pouring here in texas, but I like the rain because it makes my garden grow. I also hate the rain, cause I have laundry to do! Wish I could get somebody to fix my dryer...grr! Anywaze, WHO DAT?
go saints, go saints!
I think I'm a pretty cool person, but what's your opinion? My youth seems to be in the rearview mirror and fading fast into the sunset...sigh. Almost thirty and already my joints hurt when it rains, I don't party all night anymore and well, why go on? Too depressing already...but in other news I am going to start working at the VA for Dr. Edwards soon, probably next week. Hope I can hack it. I guess if I can stand to work takin' care of Franco, I can take care of just about anything Dr. Edwards can throw my way.
Back to my age...at college, I'm gonna be the den mother, I just know it. Thirty years old? no way--I refuse to believe it--I'm only 22 at heart teehee. lata on, my peeps
